When I first heard this song on TikTok, I was immediately hooked and added it to my playlist. The more I listened, the more I related it to my own life and the people in it. It made me think about all the relationships I’ve had, that I currently have, and what I expect from future relationships. I would describe this song as gut wrenching and something I’m able to listen to on repeat when I’m in the mood.
Bruno Mars’s powerful and emotional voice allowed me to feel the lyrics, not just hear them. Genuine passion and effort went into the writing of the song and the production of the music video – Bruno Mars and his team deserve a round of applause! I would recommend this song to anyone who has strong emotions about one or multiple people in their life. Even if that doesn’t apply to you, I still think the song is a good listen if you enjoy slow paced music, well thought out rhymes, or acoustic guitar!
