Trew Kitson is a junior at EHHS and plays football, basketball and track. Trew stated how Coach Perroti inspired him to play for the high school football team, but he has been playing football since he was 8 years old. Trew plays Wide Receiver and Defensive Back (DB). His job on the field as a Wide Receiver is to split out wide away from the offensive lineman and catch the ball to score a touchdown. His job as DB is to cover the opposing team’s wide receivers to stop them from catching the ball.
Kitson expressed how his goal for the rest of his high school career is to maintain a good GPA and leave a good legacy. His favorite memory of the team is the first away game of the 24-25 season because they won 21-18 against Lyman Hall. Last season, he scored a total of 3 touchdowns. The most yards he ran in a game is 105, and his most memorable play was when he scored a touchdown pass last season. His goal for this season is for the team to make it to the playoffs.
After high school, Trew hopes to play Division 1 basketball, while his plans for football are still undecided.
“He’s an exceptional athlete, very enthusiastic, and a very important team member” – Coach Dunne states.
