Ayvah Vincent

EHHS senior, Ayvah Vincent, participates in many after school activities, including being a 5th year member of the marching band, drama club for 4 years, the creative club, as well as many other clubs throughout her time in high school.

Ayvah says, "Never limit the possibilities available to yourself, always be willing to try something new! You may never know if music is something you enjoy making if you never give it a chance! This goes for anything you find intriguing. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, because the only way to get better is to learn."

Elijah Dunaj

EHHS Junior, Elijah Dunaj, is president of YAMs, and is a member of the Honor Society, Creative Club, Debate Club, Model UN, Maritime Program, and a local boy scout troop. Elijah plays both the tuba and trombone, and plans on pursuing a career in music composition.

Elijah explains the importance of people joining by saying, "If we can get the word out more often, we can increase membership numbers. This would give us an actual footing in the school."

Jayson Carrington

EHHS Junior, Jayson Carrington, is a part of YAMs, marching band as an actor/colorguard, and choir.

Jayson says, "I both heard about and joined YAMs through the music teacher, Mr. Wolf. He mentioned it to the music department, and it piqued my interest. There are a lot of positives to YAMs. It helps individuals push themselves musically to gain more experience. It also doesn't cost anything to join except your dedication. We also sometimes do gigs at certain events, like playing at a festival or some sort of town event. The best part is there [are] minimal downsides. I joined because I wanted to learn more and put a little more music in my life; this was the best way to do it."
Eric Berrios

EHHS Junior, Eric Berrios, is a member of the marching band, symphonic band, and YAMs. He plans on staying with YAMs for the rest of his EHHS career.

Eric says, "My favorite part of YAMs is the time I get to practice with my friend Evan because I don't get to most of the time."
