Last week, as a celebration for Halloween, Crumbl gave us candy themed cookies.
It was not a bad concept, but in execution…
On the bottom we have Strawberry Limeade ft. NERDS. It was unspeakably bad and it should be a crime to put nerds on a cookie. Next we have Chocolate Malt ft. Tootsie Roll. The chocolate malt idea wasn’t bad, but the Tootsie Roll ruined the whole thing. Out of all the chocolate candies they could have picked they landed upon one of the worst ones.
Then we have Original ft. M&M’s Candies. You can’t go wrong with an original cookie! The flavor itself was really good and actually tasted homemade rather than the usual artificial taste it has. The only complaint I have is that the cookie was dry and just a tad boring. After that we have the Classic Krispies Bar ft. Rice Krispies. I absolutely loved the concept and loved the taste. The only problem with this cookie is that it is not a cookie. They literally just sold a round rice krispie and called it a day. Other than that it was delicious and I would have put it at the top if it was an actual cookie!
The best cookie of this week was the Peanut Butter Crisp ft. Butterfinger. If you are a peanut butter fan you will love this cookie. It was crispy, creamy, and full of flavor.
Overall, I am pleased with this year’s Halloween themed week and I can not wait to see how they top it next year.
