The YMCA program has been running for 5 years under the direction of Lynn Wheeler, for the enjoyment of many families.
The director of the YMCA program loves to bring joy to children’s faces, as well as helping families and spending time with children. Lynn Wheeler has been part of the YMCA team for a few years now. Not only has Wheeler worked her way up from being the hiring manager for other programs, but she is now proudly the director of the YMCA Before and After School program.
The YMCA program is a way for working parents to get some extra help with their children. Not only does this program help parents, but it also provides many fun activities for children to participate in. These activities consist of Arts and Crafts and STEM projects. All participants get fun activities and extra help with these skills. For those who are 16 years or older and love children, there are many opportunities for you to participate in the fun of young minds, whether during the school year or for the summer, take the chance to have fun and work with other children.
Over the last few years, this program has helped many people. With a bus as transportation, this program is available to children and families from 6:45 am until 6:00 pm. To enroll in this program, you must apply online. Wheeler and many of the coworkers part of the YMCA have been finding financial aid for families to get the help they need.
Go visit the YMCA under the direction of Lynn Wheeler and get the help and care your children need. If you are unsure that this is the place for you, the YMCA is providing an open house on October 17th, all are welcome. Bring joy back into the world through our future generations of doctors, scientists, psychologists, and more.
