Spider-Man No Way Home is the third installment of the Tom Holland trilogy. The movie came out in late 2021 and was an immediate hit and it lived up to the hype it received.
The movie follows Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, as he navigates the challenge of his identity being revealed to the public. He faces many obstacles, from legal trouble to constantly getting recognized, and even having his and his friends’ college applications denied.
He soon goes to Stephen Strange and manages to convince him to wipe everyone’s memory of the fact he’s Spiderman. However, the spell doesn’t work and an issue occurs. He finds out that something isn’t quite right when he runs into Doctor Octopus.
Throughout the movie, we see a lot of familiar faces from the Spiderman movies. One by one we get reintroduced to the other amazing Spider-Man actors Andrew Garfield and Tobey Mcguire. For viewers who didn’t get the movie spoiled directly upon release, it was a twist most of us saw coming. However, it was done in such a way that got everyone excited.
The sound and visuals of this movie are amazing. Seeing characters that many of us grew up with also made for a nostalgic watch in a way. However, I wish we had gotten to see more of certain characters and how they would have interacted with each other. Also, the time of its release was around when COVID restrictions started to be lifted which didn’t do it much justice in the theaters.
