Kimberly Carrera

EHHS senior, Kimberly Carrera, participates in many artistic activities including Choir, Drama Club, Marching Band, and Winter Percussion. Though she enjoys them all, her favorite is theatre arts, as she has been a singer since she was in 3rd grade.

She said, "I see myself turning to art in every situation ever. Playing music and being in a theatrical production is so fun to do in my spare time, so yes, I do do it for fun, but it's also a creative outlet for me that also helps me let out my emotions. Art is just something I love, so I perform whenever for whatever reason and it always helps me express myself."
Mathew Corriveau

EHHS Senior, Mathew Corriveau, explains how art is a large part of his life, he listens to music, watches films, and even breathes music himself. Matthews favorite form of art is music, because it can tell a story about a person or tell someones emotions and feelings.

He says, "When I was sad cause of my grandfather's passing, he would always listen to music even ones that were made when I was a kid. He would always tell me to listen to music to help calm stress. In school, when I met with Mr. Wolf and learned how to play music, it was a great experience. When I had art with Mr. Stevens drawing pictures and even making cups in Mrs. Santos room. It made a positive impact."
Nicholas Cinquino

EHHS sophomore, Nicholas Cinquino, participates in drama, as well as acting. His favorite of the activities is acting because he gets to express himself through a character in a play. Nicholas explains how his experience in drama involves a combination of speech, voice, visual elements, and movement to express something, whether that is a story or emotion.

Nicholas explains, "Art is a broad term and so much is considered to be it. There is always something for someone, you just need to find what makes you happy and what you enjoy doing; most importantly never be scared to do it."
Justin Sieng

EHHS Senior, Justin Sieng , participates in artistic activities such as, music, fashion, and film. His favorite is fashion because he likes to express himself through his clothing, and everyday when he gets to pick out his outfit, it solidifies his love for the art. Justin's advice on starting your own journey in art is to try a variety of art forms to get a feel for what you enjoy most.

He says, "Art has given me an outlet to also express my feelings, which I believe has positively impacted my mental health. I encourage everyone to find a form of art or design that they might enjoy and try it out to see if they find the same enjoyment as I found."
Ayvah Vincent

EHHS senior, Ayvah Vincent, enjoys watching animated movies and TV, looking at fanart of shows, and personal art of others online, as well as marching band at EHHS. she explains that she would spend all day doing art if she could.

Ayvah says, "Don't be afraid to try! You never start good, but that's the fun of it. Trying over and over, and improving with each take. Again, there is a lot of different things you can do, art is not limited to paper and pencil."
