While she’s in season, Anabella decided to adopt a healthier diet, which led to a significant 20-pound weight loss and reduced snacking.

She has notably improved her goal kicks. Looking ahead, her long-term goal is to break the record for the most clean sheets (not conceding a goal during a match) in a season, currently standing at eight. She often seeks advice from her father, a former high school goalkeeper, who inspires her with his experiences.

Anabella’s interests extend beyond the soccer field. Her passion for politics sparked in the fifth grade, fueled by a desire to promote unity and pride in her country. She keeps up with current events, even following the debates between political figures like Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Proud of her American identity, she aspires to become a politician, starting from a local representative position and working her way up.

Expressing love for her team, Anabella hopes for mutual support throughout the season. She remains open to returning to her primary role as center back, but for now, she is content as a goalkeeper.
