On this week’s Buzzing Bites, I traveled to Dallas, Texas. While I was there I went to Post Malone’s, Dallas Cowboys themed Raising Canes. It is located at 2255 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX.
Right when you pull up, there stands a giant Dallas Cowboys star that you drive under to go through the drive thru. Next to it stands a large sign that says “Raising Canes PM” (Post Malone) As you walk up to the front doors there’s a patio with all blue seats and gray tables, then you walk through the front door and all you see is blue. The walls are full of blue lights and lots of Post Malone and Dallas Cowboy memorabilia hanging up. There’s a vending machine of merchandise from that specific establishment such as t-shirts, hoodies, keychains, socks, ect. Right next to that is a mailbox that is labeled “Post to Post” meaning its mail for Post Malone. The mailbox has a drawer with Raising Canes labeled post cards and pens to send him a letter.
The interior of this restaurant is simply incredible. Overall I rate the decoration inside and out a 10/10.
Raising Canes only serves chicken so there is not much offered on the menu. The current menu currently offers 5 meals. 1 kids meal, 1 sandwich meal, and 3 different chicken tender meals served with crinkle cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, a drink, and the famous “canes sauce”. The sauce was very peppery with a creamy texture. It has a very strong flavor, while the chicken was perfect. Just enough salt to still taste good and perfectly crisp. The fries on the other hand were a bit too salty for my liking but also were crispy and good. Overall I rate the food a 8/10 due to the over salted fries.
