I genuinely thought that I would not like this book solely because of the groundhog day trope. (The main character Emilie keeps repeating valentine’s day). But this book was a cute romance. I obviously love Lynn Painter so that might’ve been part of my bias and why I got this book but I love the way the characters were written. I Love the way Lynn wrote the love interest (Nick) and how he’s clearly Emilie’s soulmate. I also liked the playlist at the very end of the book and how it referenced many Taylor Swift songs, along with many Swift references throughout the book.
Overall I would recommend this book and it would be so perfect to read during the spring and it’s also a perfect valentines day read.
